This is a “fruit bomb” of a coffee from Guji, Ethiopia. We’ve brought in coffees from Kayon Mountain Estate in the past, and this years lot is a little more refined - but no less fruity - than those. Kayon Mountain is an outlier among farms in Ethiopia. Most farms are nearly backyards - worked by a single family during the course of the year. Kayon Mountain is larger - with 25 full time employees - and leverages that size to consistently produce great coffee and also give back to the nearby communities.
